Paramont·Owner Resources·Pay Assessment

Pay an assessment.

Four ways to pay, none of which require you to call. We recommend ACH auto-debit — it's free, it never misses, and it sleeps through hurricanes.

Assessments are typically due the first of the month for monthly-billing associations, or the first of the quarter for quarterly-billing associations. A 10-day statutory grace window applies before any late fee posts.

Four methods. Choose one — or stack them.

A note on credit cards We accept Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, and Discover through the portal — but the processor's 2.95% fee is passed through to you. For a $1,500 quarterly assessment, that's roughly $44. ACH avoids this. Set it up once and forget it.

Late fees & delinquency.

Florida statute (Chapter 718 for condos, Chapter 720 for HOAs) governs the timeline and amounts of late fees, interest, and collections action. Each association's specific schedule lives in your governing documents — and is also reproduced below in summary:

Stage
Timing
Description
Statutory Grace Period
10 days
No late fee. Statute-required grace before any penalty applies.
Late Fee Posts
Day 11
Per your association's adopted schedule, typically $25 or 5% of the assessment, whichever is greater.
Interest Begins
Day 11
Statutory rate up to 18% APR on unpaid balance.
30-Day Notice
Day 30
Pre-collection notice sent. Last opportunity to resolve before referral to association counsel.
Counsel Referral
Day 45+
Account referred. Attorney fees and lien costs accrue. Lien filing may follow per the governing documents.
Hardship? If you're facing genuine financial hardship — medical, employment, family — call us before day 30. Most Florida associations permit short-term payment plans by board approval, and we'd rather help structure a path forward than process a lien.

What if I missed a payment?

It happens. The fastest path back to current:

  1. Log into the portal to view your current balance including any late fee and interest.
  2. Pay the full balance shown by ACH (free) — same-day clearance.
  3. Email office@paramontproperty.com to confirm and to ask about late-fee waiver — first-time slips are often waived at the desk's discretion.
  4. Enroll in ACH auto-debit. Truly.
